Kakaduowate

Hej  w dzisiejszym poście.
Sorry, że tak późno ale niedawno co skończyłam się uczyć.
Może jutro dam recenzję takiej jednej książki z Wattpada co mi koleżanka poleciła.
Wattpad  jest to aplikacja gdzie ludzie piszą blogi w formie książek i oczywiście wszystkie są za darmo.

Kakaduowate



Kakaduowate (Cacatuidae) – rodzina ptaków z rzędu papugowych (Psittacifromes). Obejmuje gatunki występujące w różnego typu zadrzewionych okolicach, zamieszkujące Australię, Nową Gwineę i okoliczne wyspy.




Charakterystyka
Ptaki te charakteryzują się następującymi cechami:
  • czubek na głowie
  • krępa sylwetka
  • dziób krótki i bardzo silny
  • ubarwienie od białego, przez różowe i szare po czarne
  • na grzbiecie pióra pudrowe
  • podstawę pożywienia stanowią orzechy
  • gniazda w dziuplach
  • jaja wysiadują oboje rodzice

 Do rodziny należą następujące podrodziny:
  • Nymphicinae – nimfy – jedynym przedstawicielem jest Nymphicus hollandicus – nimfa.
  • Calyptorhynchinae – żałobnice
  • Cacatuinae – kakadu

Według badań przeprowadzonych przez Nicole White i współpracowników w 2011 roku, wykorzystujących sekwencje mitochondrialnego DNA, linia ewolucyjna prowadząca do Cacatuidae oddzieliła się od jej grupy siostrzanej, Psittacidae, w eocenie, około 40,9 mln lat temu, natomiast ostatni wspólny przodek współczesnych kakadu żył w oligocenie, około 27,9 mln lat temu. Różnicowanie kakadu w oligocenie i miocenie mogło być częściowo spowodowane adaptacjami i specjalizacjami dzioba, które umożliwiły im zajęcie wolnych wcześniej nisz ekologicznych.Cockatoo distribution.png
